Build relationships with current and potential clients.
Act as the team lead and client liaison for projects.
Independently perform HR consulting services as a leader or member of a consulting team. Services include HR audits, employee handbooks, job descriptions, creating processes & procedures, offering advice for personnel issues, fielding compliance questions, and many more.
Research the solutions to client queries and problems.
Follow or create systems for all duties as appropriate.
Operate personal vehicle when necessary to conduct company business.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Capability to build strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, current and future clients, and the public.
Highly experienced in researching and synthesizing information.

Be able to manage and prioritize a high volume of tasks with different time demands.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understand different situations require different communication strategies.
Work both independently and as part of a team in a virtual office environment.
Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity.
Be an advisor to clients.
Each consultant will be able to support clients as a generalist but may have their own areas of expertise within the human resources and leadership field.
All consultants must become proficient at performing HR audits (Healthy Foundation Evaluation) and writing employee handbooks within the first six months of employment.
Deep knowledge of Federal and Washington State employment law.
Ability to use email, database, project management and other software.
Education & Experience:
Certification from SHRM or HRCI required within six months of employment.
5+ years of experience in human resources or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field is required. Experience may be substituted for education.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Ability to move or transport up to 20 pounds as needed; ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time; ability to position self as needed for routine office work such as accessing filing cabinets or using the phone; ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; ability to attend networking and other in-person events, and ability to be mobile as related to business needs.
Because of the virtual nature of the company, the team member’s home workspace must pass a safety checklist provided by PSHR.
